First round timing

The Shillong Teer Association conducts the first round of archery starting around 3:30 PM IST. Archers shoot at the target; the final arrow count determines the result. The last two digits of the count are the morning number, declared by 3:45 PM typically.

Two rounds per day

Teer is played in two rounds on each working day (Monday–Saturday, excluding holidays). The morning (first) round at ~3:45 PM, and the night (second) round at ~4:45 PM IST. Players can bet on either or both rounds.
